Frost Cutlery??

You got screwed on this deal dude. Don't use it, it's a piece of crap and will end up hurting you as was mentioned before. Grind the edge to where it's completely dull and throw it away.

I found this...

I agree with the others, Frost isn't known for producing the best quality knives. As jetsrb32 mentioned, I get a kick outta watching the 300 piece knife set (plus FREE limited edition katana set!) for $350 at 3am. I love to hear their retail prices.

"Retail price is $39.95...but tonight only...get in on this deal for only $1.17 per knife"..

It looks very similar to this one, but with some minor differences. The "Crocodile" is etched in above the oval holes, and is written in script instead of block letters. The holes themselves are smaller too and on more of an angle than in the photo above, with more space above them. Also, there is no frilly thing where the blade meets the guard, and the spot where the manufacturer is written on the blade... on this one it is just embossed "Japan" and on the other side "Frost Cutlery". I would assume the Crocodile III is just the same knife as I have (Croc II) with some minor changes to the holes and a few new stickers, meh. The knife I got does not look new at all, the wooden handle seems to have had the shine rubbed off of it by hands, and the blade is a dull grey which suggests some age. Just by guessing I'd peg it to be maybe 15 years old or so, but the blade is hella sharp as is the bone saw on the back. It may just be the photo, but my knife looks slimmer somehow too. I might take it in the yard and see how it holds up to whittling and such, and besides for $20 nothing really lost here. Thanks for the info everyone.

I'm really frustrated here- just got the SMKW catalog and some of this stuff looks really neat: a Copperhead with bone handles and a hidden lock on the main blade that unlocks by pressing the pen blade, and for $10? Now you guys are telling me that Steel Warrior is worthless. Great design can't overcome bad execution, I guess, but someone tell me it ain't so!

Bah. Bah, I say.
