Well,

It's almost been a week since we got back from Washington. I still cant sleep:D

How long does adrenyline take to get out of your system?

Planning on going over to Jim Arbuckles and do some blade forging Sunday. I'm ging to be teaching him how to forge ugly.

My little girl turns 10 this w/e. God I feel old. Seems like it was just yesterday that she was 2. She'll be married and telling me how stupid I am in no time :)

What ya'll doin?
 
I can sympathize with the growin' old part, mine is just about to turn 15 and she acts like 30, but they make ya proud, like when her HS band was chosen to marh in the Veterans Day Parade in NYC last Friday because they're that good.:D

Well I've got projects due for school monday, tuesday, and wednesday next week....and I'm supposed work today through monday. So I don't think I'm going to fit anything fun in this weekend:grumpy:
It also went and got cold on us! Coldest day of the year since last march. 14 deg F right now:eek: :mad:
 
Good Morning Men,Still pumped up eh Mark? I haven't been able to sleep for about a month-so I can relate !! My problem is due to stress and trying to get this new shop of mine up.Try working in 3' of WET SNOW. BUMMER !! Little Girls,yep,mine just turned 13 on the 22 of Oct. and I can see the hair just jumping off my head !! But really , I wouldn't trade it for all the money in the world .Give yours a Great Big Happy Birthday from all of us . Hows that little bundle of yours doing BLGoode ? Well you guys have a GRRREEAAT weekend !! Talk to you all later. WEZ
 
Oh it will be a couple of weeks....the adrenaline will turn into being bummed :)

It's cold over here- 46F, I might die of frostbite. Otherwise, everything is here, nothing is going on this weekend, and my forge WILL be up and running by Sunday!

Mark just wait until High School, remember my hair loss,......tel Jim I said hi, last time I saw him he spoke of all of us getting together...I know some guys in Norfolk that will come...Ill host the first one at my house.....my girlfriend loves to cook for a crowd.....let me know

my oldest is 24 going on to 25 so that makes me 2 1/2 times older than you:confused: :rolleyes: rrr almost :D sure feels like it though..:( :)

taking the good woman to see Harry potter tonight,
hunting in the morning and heading for Mass in the afternoon for the NCCA show, that stuff will take up my weekend...
 
Last week end of deer season and I haven't seen any thing yet BUT we have snow now. Could be the time to see something besides tweety birds.
Could be a less than fun weekend though -- the kids sort of mentioned they have 35 chickens that need to be butchered:mad: and my son turns white at the sight of blood:D

You think you feel old now? My little girl just turned 26! Hard to believe - yer right. :p

I'm also happy and excited for you, Mark. Making the move to a place you want to be is a really good feeling. My prayers are with you and your family that your transition to The West is a smooth one. :thumbup:

I got 7 folders on the bench, orders for 5 of them already. I'll be in teh shop as long as I can stand it from now until Sunday, where I'll be heading to the show in Marlboro. :)

I'm still so excited I can hardly stand it. I'm a "planner type" My brain is sizzling right with house plans, shop plans, Self sufficiency . I need two or three more brains to process all the info at once.
 
Mark, Sunday sound good...Ill try..right now Im catchin up on back orders..though I might take a short ride on the Hog......any excuse:p
 
I took a vacation day today to get a start on a 3 day session in the shop. I'm out of knives and I'm working one that has my juices going. I have a daughter 15 going on 30 also. (My 11 son is fine if we just let him play video games all day. We don't so he gets some special attention himself occasionally.)
I am trying to listen to everything she says because right now she knows absolutely everything and we know nothing....

My little girl turns 30 next June and has 2 kids of her own. It was just a short time ago that she learned to walk and talk (it seems).

I think you got the order reversed on the marrying and telling you how stupid you are. The telling is not more than a couple of years away, while the marriage (with luck) is over a decade off in the future.
 
Well I had a nice day planned in the shop but got invited to go on a fun 4 Wheeler Ride tomorrow. I hate the temptation.

Who said 40 somthing degreees.....I think it was in the low 20's this morning. I think its time to put on of the plows on the 4 wheelers.

Mark, Im with ya brother. I have a 15 and 13 year old and they keep me hoppin.

The good news, Tracy, is that she'll eventually realize you have finally smartened up enough! ;)

coldest day yet this year today. the weather website says it's 45 here (too lazy to get up and look at the thermometer). :D goin to the rock climbin wall today to belay for a group of newbs. might get to climb a little, but it's fun either way. :thumbup: thinkin about gettin some friends over this P.M. and do a little grindin in the shop. ya'll all have a good 'un.

I feel like I have reached two milestones this week. First I applied for Social Security. Second, I did it online. Who would thunk it. Highlight of my week;
my son Kevin signed up with the air force. He's going into broadband communications. He is 23 and excited about what he is doing.
