Frrriiiiiddddddaaaaaay , Whoo hoo

Back from vacation... Growing season about done. Finally get to spend more time in the shop. Hope to get the anodising set up done soon. Work on a few butterflies.. Putting snow tires on Sunday.

Say Happy Birthday to the kid. They grow up fast. My oldest has 2 with another on the way. The other 4 haven't goan that route yet :) . All in All it's a great ride and wouldn't change a thing. I blame the gray hair on them but they don't believe me.

SweeeT!!

I got rid of my 87 FXST due to a dang Woman. I finally got so mad about it after I realized how stupid I was, that I dumped said Woman :D

I miss that bike :(

I've promised myself that I'm going to build one before I hit 50 !

Well, I got the wild idea this morning to head on up to Craig Camerer's place tomorrow and harrass him in his shop a little, but he's not answering his phone. Then, it dawned on me that this weekend is the first weekend of the Illinois shotgun deer season, so he's probably nowhere to be found. Guess I'll stay home and try to get something done in my own shop. :)

Oh yeh, Fridays are suppose to be my day off from work although it never really feels like it.

Thanks and reciprocal Happy's to your Daughter. Maybe they can play together.

We only had 3 days to call our own while there. But we covered a good bit of ground. We looked at a place or two in "the wedge" and all around the Barstow area. Around Barstow up near Kelly Hill is where we liked it the best. We found some property that has views of the Kettle on one side and the Columbia on the other. 44 acres of what looks like a park. We havent official made up our minds , but I have:D

I hope we end up there. It's off Bridgeman-Rettinger road. I'm just now getting down off the high I've been on since being there. Cant wait to get back.

Weekend? what's a weekend?

been averaging 2.5 houirs sleep for the last 2 weeks, but should have all order cought up by the end of next week at this rate :)

going back out of town to make a delivery in a few minutes.... looks like the third all nighter this week :(

......I've promised myself that I'm going to build one before I hit 50 !

That's funny, I've had a mongrel Pan Head that's been sitting in garage since 93, motor 1950, front end 67 electra glide, swing arm and rear brake 1980 or so, Pachough frame. Got it running last year, still haven't painted it or got it registered, but, I ride my 79 Low Rider quite a lot.

This summer (06) Linda and I are going to rent a Road King and take it to Lake Placid for a week, if I like it, I'll buy one, but I'll have to sell the Pan Head  , I'll never sell the Shovel Head, it's mostly original Low Rider.

Oh, by the way, just turned 54 last Thursday. :D :D

T blade......I owned a 79 low rider also.....dont ever sell it...I miss that bike, the sound, the 4 speed gear box,,,,it was black with red pin strips.....drag bars and pipes...way illegal back then.......

it amazes me how many times in a day I hear " dont your arms get tired holding on to them bars......other bikers too.... referencing my apes

standard answer: they are 40% comfort & 60% attitude:cool:

Ride on brothers

My father owns a motorcycle shop. All we work on is the old bikes. (only Harley Davidson). :D

His personal collection really brings you back in time.

I got this. Having my logo on the side lets me write off the cost of the bike and all associated costs. I have a very good tax man. :D
