FS: 1968 Colt Custom by Armand Swenson / Full House Custom Heinie Colt (CT)

Didn't I read somewhere that Swenson was one of the first to do 1911 combat/upgraded pistols? I thought I read that.

You are correct. Mr. Swenson was a pioneer in custom 1911's and is a legend. To find a complete custom from him in this condition is extremely rare. He was making steel commander sized 1911's before there was a steel commander 1911 by cutting down full sized 1911's. He invented the extended safety that is so popular today.

That Swenson is friggin awesome. Matter of fact the price might even be to low! Simply excellence in a defensive handgun. I love my CCO, .45acp the best carry gun bar none. keepem sharp
