Ive been buying from everyone here on Blade Forums for a few years now, but now its my turn to recoup some funds for my overzealous purchasing by selling some prized possessions.
Payment by PayPal, prices include shipping First Class USPS with tracking, CONUS only, not really interested in trades, no low ball offers, and any questions please PM me. First Ill take it with a prompt payment gets it. You know the routine. Sorry the photos are so dark its been raining almost non-stop here all week and I never had an opportunity to get a sunny shot. Hope I got everything and pass the audition.
This is a huge Queen KKCA knife 5 1/4 inch folding hunter made for the Kansas Knife Collectors Associations 5th Anniversary in 1994. It was 1 of 100 made for them and has the serial number 003 on the bolster. The handles are made of corn cob jigged bone. The shield is the state of Kansas. The steel is probably 420HC stainless steel. Ive had the knife for about three years and have never used or sharpened it. Theres a light scuff mark or two on the bolsters from bumping around with other knives, but otherwise its like new. No scratches or marks of any kind, solid lock up in all directions. The only flaw I see is the backspring doesnt align flush with the blade when open. Ive included a pic of this as best I can. It comes in the box it sold with.
This is a limited edition collectors item in immaculate condition. It was appraised at $95 back in 2009 (https://books.google.com/books?id=E...nife collectors association 1994 kkca&f=false) and was recently appraised for between $150 - $200.
