South African Knifemakers Andre van Heerden and Andre Thorburn created A2 Knives to represent their Collaborative Works - this is an exceptional knife from them. It is the Deluxe A3 flipper, with a 3 1/2" double ground spearpoint blade in M390 super steel with a handrubbed satin finish. The handles are 3D sculpted, with milled grips and insets. It is black micarta with orange insets (may look yellow in pics, but its orange). Matching full notched backstrap and single piece tip-up clip. It featurtes a multi-row set of IKBS ball bearings, and the flipper action is silky smooth with zero wrist needed. It has thick blued titanium liners that lock up like a rock. Blade is perfectly centered and is razor sharp to boot. Overall, the fit and finish on this knife is superb in every respect! The maker's price on this is over $1,000. It is dead mint and comes in a nylon pouch.

It features a 3 3/4" double ground double edged dagger blade that is wicked sharp, and has dual integral fingerguards. The action is super smooth with IKBS bearings making it slick and without the need for any wrist action. The presentation side handles have black carbon fiber scale and a timascus bolster. The framelock titanium frame is thick and the lock up is like a vault. Matching titanium backstrap, and zirconium tip up clip. Makers price on this knife was $875.
