"These Custom Made Bark River Canoes are just a sample of some of the Classic Models we are planning for later this year and 2012.
Jason at DLT asked us to Hand make 100 of these to get the ball rolling. Each of these is Hand Ground and the handles are all Hand Shaped.
Jason is sharing these with some of the other dealers but there are only 100 on this Custom Run. I strongly suggest you act quickly if you want one.
The Design harkens back to 1898 to the First Real American Hunting Knives designed by Webster Marble and then the Sheffield Firms that Copied the Marbles patterns.
The Marbles Canoe was a the size of the Smaller Ideal but it has a little different fuller and was made from thinner stock. We made these from 1095 that was under 3/16ths thick so they are closer to the look and feel of the vintage Canoes".
