Sold, funds received, thank you.I am receiving this knife back tomorrow.
I had it traded, but both of us decided to trade back.
In the message to me, the opening was a bit stiff...mostly due to it being as new.
I bought it here:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...de-Mini-Ritter-Griptilian-with-Wilkins-Scales!

I will have it on Monday and ship it out to you on Monday or Tuesday at the latest.
Making another purchase, so I'm going to offer this at a LOW price of $195.
First I'll take it followed by prompt payment gets it.

Hmmm...for some reason, the site is not letting me send you a PM. Could you send me an email via my Profile regarding payment? I'm heading out the door right now, so I might not get back to you until late tonite or tomorrow morning.

Thanks, Gasman

Gasman, hopefully you can send funds now...I sent you an email.
Otherwise I have to sell to first to send funds hope you understand, it's all part of the "wanting that next knife badly syndrome" :D

Lisa,

I don't understand this...I said that I would take the knife and that I would send the funds after I returned home tonite. It is difficult to understand what part of "I'll take it" that you did not comprehend. Didn't think this was like hitting the "Buy It Now" button on ebay. Bad form...

This is why I put these words in my ad, "First I'll take it followed by prompt payment gets it."
""

So when you list something for sale, what ensues is a chaotic and disorderly race to see who can Paypal you first? A reasonable amount of time is usually given to forward payment, "reasonable" being measured in days, not minutes. What you're doing may technically be within the rules, I suppose, but just because you CAN do something doesn't mean that you SHOULD.

I priced the item LOW for a quick sale, I suppose I determine quick differently than another.
I expressed that I will sell to prompt payment which I did.

Desperate times calls for desperate measures, right?

I'm done here, but let future buyers beware that "I'll take it" has absolutely no meaning when it comes to one of your listings.

You are possibly right, as I did state, "Otherwise I have to sell to first to send funds hope you understand, it's all part of the "wanting that next knife badly syndrome"

Like I'd posted, I was already heading out the door and would send payment upon returning home that night. I didn't even see your quoted post until later that night. Maybe next time you "badly" want to buy something, you ought to have the funds in hand first rather than resorting to desperate measures to obtain them. Isn't that what you'd teach your kids?
