Both of these terrific slip joints are in absolutely MINT condition, they have never been carried or used to cut anything.......They both have been purchased within the past year and I am the one and only owner.
Bill Ruple's Mammoth and Damasteel Trapper:
This, (app. 3 7/8" closed), Trapper has two Stainless Damasteel blades.........3 1/8" clip point and a 3" Wharncliffe......the bolsters and liners and oval escutcheon are of 416 Stainless Steel, the top bolster is pinched and fluted.........the scales are deep blue, with deep green highlights, Mammoth Ivory.............as to be expected there is very fine and detailed filework on the back liners and springs; it does not continue to the blades.
There are half stops and the blades, ("walk and talk") snap nicely into the half stop and open position. The fit and finish is exemplary, as you would expect from Mr. Ruple.
SOLD
