Hitchcock V2 #198- The Hitchcock is the first original design from Birdvis Knives. The handle covers on this knife are made out of micarta from the starter cover of a WWII Pratt & Whitney R-2800 radial engine. A variety of war birds were outfitted with the R-2800 engine including the P-47 Thunderbolt, F6F Hellcat, F4U Corsair, and DC-6.Cpm154 stainless steel blade and spring. Blade hardness tested at 60hrc. Stainless steel liners are mill relieved. Stainless steel shield and pins. 2 1/2" blade length. 3 5/8" closed length. Comes with a premium handmade leather slip.
