This is a very nice rig. Both the BK7 and 14 have OD Green Micarta scales and are professionally Duracoated tan w/ green. The whole blade is Duracoated and not just to the scales. If you look really hard you may see some small rub marks from the kydex sheaths but they are really hard to see and the Duracoat is thick so most rub right out. Both of these blades have been professionally sharpened by the Duracoat company and are very sharp. Neither has been used since this was done. Bk7 moves a little in the sheath since the Micarta handles were installed but not enough to hurt retention. You can hold the sheath upside down and shake it really hard w/o knife falling out. The letter "J: is painted into both blades--see pix-- but not really that noticeable.
The sheath is also OD green and is made by Yellowhawk Sheaths. I have had 2 of their kydex sheaths and they are some of the best made.Maker is an ex Spec Ops commander who knows what it takes to make an xlnt product. This is a piggyback sheath that carries both the 7 and the 14 very nicely.Comes w/ a drop attachment and a large teklok. Also included is a firesteel loop--no firesteel--and a wrapped length of paracord w/ a small LED light attached. Great quality. All the edges are smooth and the whole sheath exudes quality. Very solid to pick up and hold.
