SPF to dontek - Henchman “Letter Opener” from Neil Blackwood’s shop. Has a proper, 4” chisel grind blade from anodized Titanium. Very light, it has spent all its life in a padded case stashed in my locker. $125, shipped/insured in the CONUS to the first “I’ll take it” to hit my e-mail box. Prefer USPS Money Order but will PayPal if you pickup the fees. Would consider trade +cash for Jerry Hossom marked blades. Three day inspection period for full refund less actual shipping costs. Thanks for the look! SPF to dontek

Is this knife only capable as a letter opener ?
how hard is anodized titanium ?
thank you, roland

I don't mean to step on this thread but I'll butt in to say that titanium is not very hard - this is meant as a lightweight last-ditch backup blade, with little to no magnetic signature due to the titanium. It's not meant for utility cutting.

Yep ff5 is correct, a titanium cutting tool is not designed as a heavy cutter. It does have other properties though that appeal to some. I'm under the impression it got called the "letter opener" as a way to differentiate it among the Henchman line as this one has some initial steps performed on a CNC machine.
Stay Safe,
Clyde
