Up for auction is a pre-owned, but gently used BHK Maverick Colt. The knife has never been sharpened and comes with the BHK edge. The knife has semi-stainless D2 steel and polished green canvas micarta scales. Comes with BHK RH hip sheath. Specs are below:

Thanks a lot for being so upfront and letting me know you where selling it out from under me ! I sent you two emails explaining that I wanted to buy the knife because the handles matched those my other Blind Horse knife .

You didn't have the decency to answer me or even post it here that you where letting Ravot pull the rug out from under me . Very nice of BOTH of you .

You guy's haven't got a complete set of balls between you !

You said you'd take it, if he shipped to Canada. Maybe he didn't want the hassle.

Seller's choice to sell it to whomever he wants, with no explanation required.
 
I get that . What I don't get is why he didn't let me know that I'm out right away , so I could maybe not let another knife go by while I'm sitting here waiting . It's called common courtesy .

Sorry it didn't work out and I didn't mean to pull the rug underneath you. I posted after you yes but gave you the benefit of taking it first. I posted and sent the PM. I got my response today via email and that's where communication went and not on here. I simply assumed it didn't work out with you and never checked the thread. Is this something everyone else does? A buyer checking in with other folks interested in the sellers items? Highly doubt it. Chances are, you might have won a sale from a fellow canadian over a foreigner being in the same fence as me.


you might get that the seller has a choice who he gets to sell to but what you don't get is why the need to be so rude to a fellow advocate?
part of the hobby/collection is the hunt, maybe you'll get lucky in the future.

If i don't like the knife, i'll PM you, how about that?
 
Yeah REALLY ! The seller and the guy he's selling it to had plenty of time to PM each other and make the deal . But no time to let me know I'd been cut out of the deal ?

For me the knife wasn't just another knife to throw in the safe . The handles on that knife are a PERFECT match to those on my BHK Bush Pig . Same green micarta , riveted on with the exact same rivets . It was a chance to have a nice matching set of a larger bushcraft knife and a smaller matching one . What do you think the odds are of finding another one ?

My apologies Ravot . The seller never posted anything on here or answered my email . I still thought I had first shot at it until I went to his profile and saw that you had PM'd him and he'd sold it to you .

Shipping to Canada is no harder than shipping 100 miles down the road in your own state . You bring the package to the Post Office and fill in the shipping label and that's it . I sell on Ebay and ship worldwide . Other than filling out a shipping label instead of writing the address right on the package there's NO defference .

Anyway , if you don't like , yes I'd be glad to have it to make the set .

The knife is sold. Thanks to all those interested. All emails were responded to in a timely and courteous manner, though in this case, they may have not been received? I am not sure.

I am now closing this thread to prevent any further inappropriate commentary.
