Sold: Brian Thie Journeyman Smith Stamp Utility Test Knife that was submitted for judging this year to the American Bladesmith.
Forged 9260
Differential Heat Treated Steel
Hand Rubbed Finish
Visible Hamon
Blade is 3/16" thick, 1" wide, and 5 3/8" long. Overall length is 9 7/8"
Stainless Fittings
The handle is stabilized Curly Maple by WSSI.
The sheath is right hand carry also made by Brian.
This knife design was intended to be an all around useful knife hence - utility yet have an elegance about its look.
The Maple handle looks fantastic and the lines change from light to dark as its moved in the light. It has great depth and color.
