David Curtiss Custom F3 Full Ti Flipper

The medium 3.5" blade Curtiss F3 is full bronze anodized with polished bronzed pivot & screws with blue hand rubbed optional titanium backspacer. If you wanted to remove the backspacer the included standard standoffs are also bronze anodized & polished. The detent on this flipper is phenominal & it bursts opens every time no matter the direction or angle your holding it. The IKBS bearings were cleaned & reassembled using Extreme Fluoro Grease so the blade glides frictionless. The lockbar is carbidized with Tungsten so there is absolutely no stick with the added benefit of 10x longer lock life. The Diamond Pattern on the handles are very grippy, the most grippy handles I've ever felt. The innovative pocket clip has the perfect amount of tension on it. The Spanto blade was sharpened on the Wicked Edge to 50,000 grit at 18* per side. It whittles hair along the whole length of the blade, has not cut anything after sharpening except to whittle hair to verify sharpness. Knife has not been used or carried after anodizing. Blade steel is N690. 7.75" open. 4.0oz. 3.5" blade length. 4.5" closed. Beadblasted & stonewashed grinds with satin stonewashed flats. The handles were anodized bronze then stonewashed & re anodized bronze.
David has temporarily closed his books on taking orders for this knife to catch up on back orders.
Comes in original black padded zipper case.
I got lucky & bought 2 on the same day, the other being the Frag Ti, I'm keeping the Frag & need to let go of this one.

XM-18 3.5" Gen 4 S35VN Spanto Flipper

Stonewashed blade & handles. The frame, liner, clip & tab are all bronze anodized. All the pivot & screw hardware have been machine polished. The LBS (lock bar stabilizer), standoffs, & pocket clip screws are bronze anodized. The detent has been modified to about the same strength of an 0560. The detent strength has been increased so it flies open at any angle you open it. A stock XM generally needs the proper technique or wrist to get it open all the way, this needs no wrist or technique. The blade was sharpened for cutting performance in mind, a convex edge. The convex edge was initially sharpened at 14 degrees per side then the shoulders were brought back to 12 degrees, the cutting edge was convexed from 14 degrees to 15 degrees. The convex edge is made from 12* to 15* in 1/4* increments. The final finish is a mirror polish that whittles hair along the whole length of the cutting edge. The blade has not cut anything after sharpening except to whittle a hair. The lockbar is carbidized for a stick free lock with 10x more lock life than a Ti framelock thats not carbidized. The knife has not been used or carried after anodizing. The action is super smooth & the blade falls closed under just the weight of the blade. 5.6oz 8.25" overall. 3.5" Blade. 4.75" closed. S35VN HRC 61. FDE Scale.
