I work as a Geologist. As such we often use tools like a pocket transit for our work. I have two that I ordered and couldn't return (final sales stink) and the company ended up providing me one. So, these are essentially the best made compasses you could ever buy, hence the price tag. If you want, I kid you not THE best compass in the world, this is it. It is the COMPRO model, so it's a composite plastic vs aluminum, much lighter and just as durable. The are selling online for $325 plus shipping. I'm asking $275 each or both for $500 and I'm taking a loss at that. You could flip them and resell them for more at that price. I just don't want to sit on them any longer, not being used. Shipped insured to the lower 48. Shipping included in the above prices.
