Hi everyone,

Once in a while I get in the mood to sell stuff and it has come again.

I've tried to price these fairly. I don't know what they are worth or in some cases what I've paid. I have included screenshots of what I paid for some when I could find it.

Here's a link to the photos. Google may organize them by date so you might need to scroll around to see all the photos.

Fontenille Pataud Laguiole: Never carried or used. Very nice knife with white bone. I've had a few of these and this one had the best grind out of all of them. Looks like I paid 193 euros back in 2022. I'm sure it has gone up. How about $150 USD shipped.

Menefee Desk Knife: I've had this one for a long time and it's been in my desk and used for opening envelopes. Not abused in any way but used. It's in good condition. On the side of the blade with the makers mark there is a spot that is slightly discolored and hard to see unless the lighting is right. At first I thought it was some old oil or maybe wax that needed to be wiped off but it didn't come off. I looked at it with a 10X loupe and it's not corrosion. I don't know what it is or what caused it. Pretty minor but wanted to point that out. $250 shipped.

Menefee Swayback: Another nice knife. I carried this one for 6 months or so. Cool small knife. I don't recall the details. The scales are a reddish brown linen material. Not sure of the other details. If you scroll through the photos you will see a ruler that gives the size of the knife. Good condition. Never dropped or abused. $350 shipped.

Ohta small Congress: The last photo shows what I paid and the specifics on this knife. It's never been carried or used but the small blade does have some scuffs from maybe closing? The blades don't rub anything but that small blade is then so I'm assuming when I closed it one time it came in contact with the liners. I got this in 2016 and I'm sure the price has gone up. You can see I paid $495. How about $395 shipped.

SOLD....Ohta friction folder: This one has Koa wood and VG-10 damascus. I don't think I carried it. The Koa wood scales feel a little rough, like some of the grain is coming up. Not sure if it's due to the humidity in Hawaii. It could use a very light sanding to smooth it out. I paid $230 for it which seems high for his friction folder...I guess the Koa and Damascus added up. But, it is an OFF S (Ohta Friction Folder Small). How about $95 shipped.

SOLD......Kotoh friction folder: Yoshimi Kotoh doesn't seem to get much play in the USA but he's a popular maker in Japan and does some killer friction folders. Maybe he doesn't do shows over here. But, he definitely has a following in Japan. This one has stag and I think ironwood. It's sweet. I carried it and enjoyed it for a bit. The blade is not centered but it doesn't rub from what I can tell. It works as it should. How about $95 shipped?

I will ship via USPS Ground Advantage and will insure...so if it gets lost I'll refund your dough.
Pricing reflects PayPal Friends and Family. But, I'll be happy to take PayPal G&S if you pay the fee.

"I'll take it" or similar will supersede private mail communications.

I'm in Hawaii so there will likely be delays in responding due to the time difference.

Thank for looking,
Dave
