I bought this from Burt Foster in 2009 (MS Knife) and it may be the nicest Blue Collar he ever made. Here is his description and picture from his Website. New/Perfect/Untouched! (There was a second knife in his photo which I badly cut out of picture. Knife is knife shown!)

The knife is stabilized spalted maple. The wood on the knife came from a very old maple tree that died next to the first Roman Catholic church built in Bristol Virginia in 1865. When the tree was cut down a few years ago, I took some of the more interesting sections of the tree, dried them, and recently had some of them stabilized. The wood has a lot of stuff going on, from black line spalt to curly areas, burl, and variations in color.
Knife comes with a standard blue collar pouch sheath like the one shown.

7.5" OAL / 3.5" Blade (I believe forged 1095 but he did switch to 01 at some point. Knife is MS2009 according to his stamp on blade.)

NON PAYING BUYER!!! RELISTED - Payment by postal or major bank money order only! Delivered Insured Priority Mail to CONUS (USA) address only.

First "I'LL TAKE IT" gets it!

Nice knife.

Besides the OAL and blade length, what else can you tell us about it....(ie: type of steel, hardness level, tapered tang or not, edge..hollow/convex/flat)...?

Thanks.
