It’s one of Burt Foster’s latest work before he went to Nicaragua in August, 2010. Made in July, 2010. Delivered in August, 2010. A cutter with an integral bolster. A one of the kind. Since I received it I did open the box few times fondling and appreciating it and that’s all. Uncarried. Unused, unbelievingly not even to cut a thread of hair or a piece of paper. I like it very much. Sadly enough I have to let go one of my collections that can raise the most money to cover an unexpectedly urgent financial needs. As always, family has to come first! I have four knives made by Burt and after some discussion with family members we came to an agreement that this magnificent piece is the most logical one to be parted with to cover most of our urgent financial needs!
An outstandingly handsome cutter. The blade material is a damascus steel made from O1 and 15N20 with 30/16, 6-bar alternating twisted "W" pattern. The handle material is a beautiful wood with lots of characters which I believe as an Amboyna
The leather sheath was made so beautiful with false inlays that looks so much like the real inlays
Well, I ask exactly the same amount I paid to Burt which is USD $2200.00 plus shipping (i.e. USD $50.00). The first to respond by sending me an email or by saying “I’ll take it” get it and by default it means temporarily SPF. Kindly email me right after posting the reply. The payment is via Western Union. The knife will only be confirmed as sold once I successfully picked the whole payment from Western Union agent. By taking it one save at least 18 months waiting time. Shipping of the knife to the taker will be done earliest by the next working day after payment received (i.e. I'm at the other side of the globe and my day time is your night time! So my next working day might mean your next two working days!). Shipping is via EMS Poslaju Malaysia (i.e. equivalence of USPS EMI). This is my first selling and I hope it will go smooth so let’s make this a true nice deal
And here are the pictures of the cutter which were sent to me by Burt himself! So sorry for not having photographic talent to come out with my own shots
Disclaimer: The belt in the above picture is not included in the deal.

.. I'm very pleased with the final knife. The blade is light and fast .. The handle is wide so it's very secure, but it's not as thick as you might expect, so it seems to be comfortable with a wide range of hand sizes ..
.. Blade: 14-1/8", width 2", thickness (at thickest part) .265", overall 19-5/8" .. it has a very "alive" feel to the blade. It is very fast in the hand. In fact, the balance point is only 2" in front of the integral bolster, which gives it great cutting power, but still keeping it very light and fast ..
