I bought this to carry, but i never seem to. It's now discontinued. It's been carried twice in a pocket slip at some tuxedo formal events. I could just as easily carry a peanut or GEC or anything else because I am in a Tux and really no need for a knife other than to make me happy. At any rate I am not a collector and I hate having something so nice sit unused. Hopefully someone else will give it a better home than the inside of a felt lined box 
It a little off center but no rubbing. It's pretty much as new. I think maybe I opened an envelope with it. It did come sharp, which in my experience is typical of Case wharncliffs, not so much with the rest. $100.00 to your door
