Very unusual pattern which I like. Could be interested in the knife but I find the sale post too confusing so I have some questions.

Steel type?? Why is there a card that apparently does not match the blade steel?
Has the knife been used, carried or sharpened?
What are the marks on the clip from?
Has the knife been sent back to CRK for a refurb?
Does it have the Idaho made stamp on it?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the inquiry, questions will be answered in reverse order ').....

It does have the Idaho made stampo on it.

The knife has NOT been sent back to CRK for a refurb.

The marks on the clip are from light indoor (in house) carry.

The knife has been used lightly to open some mail, couple UPS packages. It absolutely never has been sharpened. Still razor sharp

The steel type is S30V. You are correct the card does not match the blade steel even though the card is the card shipped with the knife new -in- box. A month or so back another fellow member gave me the impression he would like to purchase the blade from me as he was looking for the Polished look with silver thumb lug. However, after having taken the knife apart, individual pictures taken of the blade for the listing, he decided to change his mind. The listing however, was left up for a few days and members were commenting on how the marking on the blade is different than the ones on theirs for S35V steel. So I did the natural thing and contacted CRK's directly, sent them pictures of the blade and the knife itself. They later replied that all of their new knives come with the S35V steel but now and then some S30V slip threw the production-line cracks so to speak. She offered to replace the blade with the new S35V steel one but I mentioned I was perfectly fine with it. Had I never taken the knife apart this info would have never been known, but since it is known.....I prefer to be totally honest with regards of a listing. Thanks

Sale now open to both domestic and international w/international buyers adding $10 for shipping. Thanks
