52cm Cramerotti Oria ‘Cromoly’ steel tubing with lugged bottom bracket and adjustable horizontal dropouts. The other joints appear to be fillet brazed. The frame has engraved seatstays, chromed rear dropouts and right chainstay, engraved chrome straight leg steel fork, pump peg and chain hanger.
I bought the frame & fork with HS installed new in 1996 or ’97. The pinstripes around the BB, seat post binder lug and TT cable guides were added by me. I’m sure I’ve put less than 200 miles on it.
The bike is set up as a single speed. No braze-ons have been removed so it could be converted to a geared bike. There are a few nicks in the paint on the left seatstay and one on the left chainstay. Decals and paint are in very good shape; there are a few small marks here and there which aren’t scratches and don’t go into the paint.
Size: 52cm seat tube (C-C), 530 top tube
Headset: Campagnolo Chorus
Stem: Ritchey quill, steel, TIG welded, 13cm, 26.0
Handlebars: TTT “Competizione”, 42cm (outside)
Brake levers: Campagnolo aero (convertible) They are Athena IIRC. One is missing the plug where the cables would exit if used old style. They are set up motorcycle style so you may need to redo them.
Tape: Cinelli cork
Bottom Bracket: Campagnolo 111mm cartridge type, Italian threads. IIRC it’s a Chorus but it’s not marked so I may be wrong.
Crankset: Campagnolo Record 175mm, 39t chainring. It does have some wear to the anodizing as it was bought used. I haven’t found the big ring yet though I should still have it; if and when I do find it I’ll mail it to the buyer.
Pedals: none
Brakes: Dia-Compe/Cane Creek 200SL with titanium bolts and Shimano pads
Wheels: Yellow powdercoat/blue anodized (original finish) Bullseye hubset, Campagnolo Moskva 80 rims, DT straight gauge spokes, brass nipples, 32 hole, cross 3. The rear hub is spaced for a single speed and the wheel has doesn’t have much dish and a straight chainline. The design of the rear Bullseye hub allows it to be re-spaced easily and it could be set up for a multi-speed freewheel if desired, though of course you’d likely need new spokes as the wheel would need to be re-dished. Wheels are mounted using allen bolts (3/16 head) threaded into the axles but a QR can be used if desired. Rear spacing is 130mm.
Freewheel: ACS Claws, 16t.
Chain: Sedis
Tires: Panaracer Category Pro, 700x23. IIRC they are wire bead and the bike has been sitting a while so new tubes would be wise.
Seatpost: Bontrager Comp 2014-T6, 26.8, no setback
Saddle: none
Cages: CD Design, blue anodized
$550 + shipping. FedEx would likely run around $40 to CONUS. I’d prefer Paypal for payment.
