SOLD Hey all-
Just got this one today; had pre-ordered it some time ago. It is NIB, save for inspection and handling for the pics.
CRKT Ken Onion Hi Jinx K280TXP #374 of 500. Manufactured by Lionsteel of Italy. 3.32" satin finish Sleipner blade and milled/contoured Ti frame lock. Flipper runs on a caged IKBS system.
Like the majority of Lionsteel products, this is an extremely well made folder. Fit and finish is very, very good. I love the design and it feels great in the hand, but ultimately it's just too large for me to seriously consider as an EDC.
The blade flies open smooth and fast on the caged bearings without any special technique. The factory edge is hair popping sharp and is properly centered in the handle. The lock-up s rock solid and wiggle free and the lock is not sticky. (If you've ever owned a DPx Hest/F..those can be sticky until they break in, not really an issue on this one.)
MSRP on these is $500, which is high and no one is going to pay anyway. They are going for $400.00 where they are still available. Easily worth it for the Onion design, materials and Lionsteel manufacturing quality, and of course it's limited. However, I was able to pre-order at $299, which was a mistake but the vendor honored that price.
So, I'm passing that along and am asking $280 net to me, shipped USPS Priority in the U.S. SOLD
Pics can be seen HERE
Again, the price includes USPS Priority Mail in the U.S. PayPal preferred but absolutely no "eChecks". Not interested in trades and low ball offers will be politely ignored.
Drop me a note if you're interested, e-mail always works best.
Thanks-
Scott
