This is one I have been working on for a while now. It is made from 3/16" O1 tool steel with a distal taper on the blade and a tapered tang. It is shockingly light and fast in the hand for its size. This is due to the balance being right at the front half of the bolster. The handle is 3/4" thick at the bolster and widens out for a sure comfortable grip.
The blade is 7" long and 1 1/2" wide. It has a full flat grind sanded to a brushed finish and an unsharpened swedge. It is ground to about 20 thousandths behind the cutting edge for a durable edge. The micro bevel is sharpened at 25 deg. That gives it a durable edge that slices well and holds up to hard use.
The handle is made from bocote, from south America, with an ivory paper micarta bolster. The pins are nickel silver. Its bonded with Acraglas for durability.
It also comes with a matching inlayed leather sheath.
The price for this one is $300 + $20 shipping in the USA. Must be 18+ to purchase. You are responsible for the laws in your area. First "I'll take it" followed by a PM gets it.
