This is a rare, non-catalog knife from Ernie, a custom Specwar folder. It was made by him in 1997, before the release of the Specwar model by EKI, and given to a family member. It is MINT, never carried or used, and still has the razor sharp edge Ernie put on it 17 years ago! The blade is a chisel ground tanto, with deep swedge, and a hand cut thumb disc. It features hand cut partial serrations too. The blade has a satin finish with the buff line from his garage shop back in the olden days. It is very similar to a CQC6 blade in all regards. The blade has his custom 'SpecWar' logo, too. The handles are thick black G-10 with the rarely seen radiused contours. The hardware is black. Titanium frame liners in .0625" thickness, per the original customs he made. Tip up clip. Lockup is rock solid, and the action is silky smooth, as you'd expect.
