Up for sale is a beautiful full custom knife from full-time maker Nick Chuprin.

I don't think Nick isn't old enough to buy a beer yet but his name is gaining popularity in the knife community. He's already closing in on almost 10,000 Instagram followers. The future is bright!!!

Nick has collaborated with Robert Carter to make some beautiful knives.

I'm selling a gorgeous full custom example of Nick's work. This was a Special Order made at the time of the 2015 New York Custom Knife Show.

The anodized Ti handle is absolutely breathtaking in muted OD army green!!! Just beautiful!!! Nick told me the green will continue to gain a gorgeous patina over the life of the knife. TOO COOL!!!

The graduating circle cut-outs on both sides of the handle are perfectly aligned and allow to the user to see the blade in closed position.

The matching sculpted pocket clip has just the right amount of flexibility. Not overly-rigid like so many other clips out there.

The matching Ti backspacer is seamless to the handle. Smooth as silk!

The Cts-xhp steel blade reminds me of a variation on the multi grind Turpin Strife. This NCC has more of a Tanto flavor to it and the edges are sharp as a razor!!!

Take a moment to see just how much work went into the tumbling of this blade. Everything is as it should be from the maker's bench.

Beautiful inset ramp/choil on the blade to rest your thumb.

The detent and action on this knife are spectacular. A nice solid "thwack" when activated and a smooth return to closed position without hesitation. Watch the video!!! :-)

Nick recently performed a full spa treatment / blade sharpening on this knife. It is fresh from his workshop and ready to go.

Runs on bearings.

Lock-up is nice and early at 20%.

Blade centering is perfect!

All the things you want in a nice custom blade are here at a mid-tech price!

Best thing is you're buying a knife from a maker who will be shooting-up in the ranks.

Specs:

Blade Size: 3.75 inches
Handle Size: 4.75 inches
OAL Open: 8.50 inches
Slim profile for easy carry.

Asking price is only $SOLD!!!

Shipping in the USA is $20... If you're located outside the USA, I must get a quote.

Hello hummer050_1...

The blade thickness is 4mm at the widest point.

The blade is super-sharp. Here's a video of it in action:

I believe the steel is CTS-XHP. I've contacted the maker to confirm.

Thank you.

Hello hummer050_1,

I just heard back from NCC knives.

The blade steel on the MK1 L is CTS-XHP.

This is an excellent steel. Top makers like Brad Southard use it on their knives.

Thank you.
