Hey Guys first post old retired soldier 28yrs Army. I am really interested in the fighting knives of WW2 and am looking for a maker to make me a copy of the Fairbairn Sikes 1st pattern fighting knife. There are a passel of junk third patterns around but I haven't seen any good ones since HG Long made some copys back in the 90s. Please let me know if any of you guys are interested
in making the knife and if you have an approxmate price.
Thanks for your time
Cliff

Cliff,

I forgot to say-welcome to the forum. If you are interested in knives, this is the place to be. The knife is completely finished, but I have some fit and fin ish work to do and I don't like to post until the knife is perfect. I'll post sometime next week or shortly thereafter.

If you are interested in seeing some of my work, you can click on my name at the top of this post, and it will take you to my gallery.

I am reluctant to give a quote until after we've chatted, via email when you get yours up, as there are a lot of things to work out, materials, etc.
