Greetings all,
Offered for sale is a strikingly beautiful damascus fighter by one of the true greats of bladesmithing - ABS Master Smith, Burt Foster.
Additional pics and a detailed description by the maker himself can be found on Burt's site, where this piece is memorialized:
http://www.burtfoster.com/bowies/bowie_72.htm
There's a lot to be said about this knife, and Burt says it better than I could. I can wholeheartedly endorse is description of the holographic effect of this damascus pattern. It is really something to behold.
And as with every Burt Foster piece, a first rate top quality sheath specifically designed as both a functional and aesthetic complement to the knife itself is included.
I will add in specific dimensions when I get home this evening, but it is what it looks like in the photos - blade in the 10" range, +/- and inch.
Price is US$1795 which includes trackable shipping in the US and Canada, AND Paypal fees (preferred method of payment).
I am always happy to answer any questions, but the first "I'll take it!" by email (pinnocr@hotmail.com) or PM will secure this terrific piece.
Thanks for taking the time to look and read.
Roger
