Up for sale is a stunning Datz flipper from David Clark (Clark Blades).

This model was made on 2/10/16 and has all the hallmarks of David's excellent knife-making skills.

No flaws on this knife!!! Absolutely great condition!!!

This is a healthy size knife (8.5" overall length) with a thick profile... Yet, it feels absolutely wonderful in the hand.

Measurements:

Blade - 3.75"

Handle - 4.75"

OAL - 8.5"

The Tanto blade is magnificent. It's hard to see in the pictures but there is a killer hallow-grind and an awesome bevel near the tip of the blade. You will love the feel in person.

Blade Steel is acid-stonewash CTS-XHP with a jaw-dropping Chad Nichols San Mai treatment!!!

What I absolutely love about this knife is the dual finish on the blade.

The San Mai treatment on the presentation-side rides the top portion of the blade then drops into the bolster! The clip side covers almost the entire blade.

It really is a joy to explore both sides and see the difference in application... I love the effort here and it shows home much care was taken. :-)

The blade edge is wicked-sharp and razor-like!

The blade choil is generous and will make detail work a breeze for most index fingers.

The jimping on the blade-spine works perfectly without being too aggressive on the thumb.

The scales are Black Micarta with beautiful titanium bolsters. The bolsters have a perfect raw stonewash look to them. The point where micarta meets bolster is as smooth and seamless as can be. Great work here!!!

The radiating throwing-star pivots are beautifully done and the STAR OF THE SHOW is the inlaid timascus pivot collar/ring. The work is done so perfectly that the inlay is absolutely seamless with the Ti bolster.

The pivot and collar are the same size on both sides. David "NEVER" short-changes his clients when it comes to materials.

The Timascus backspacer and clip are deep rich Timascus with nicely chamfered edges.

David hand-etched his name on the interior back-spacer.

Titanium liners and and blue anodized hardware complete the package.

Blade centering is excellent with daylight on both-sides.

Lock-up is super early at and solid at 15%-20%

The lock-realease mechanism is buttery-smooth!!!

Detent is strong the flipper action is incredible!!! The blade fires open in any position.

The knife comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from David Clark.

I added some pics of the DATZ alongside a GRUNT for size comparison. The GRUNT is not for sale!!!

Please take time to view all the pictures and watch the video I made.

THIS KNIFE IS SOLD PENDING FUNDS.
