I have a Dean Hardtail for sale. It is in excellent overall condition. There are several dents and dings, finish scratches, and swirl marks which are common on a well used and well loved guitar. I attempted to photograph the larger dings and dents below. The OM decal can be removed at the buyers request.
The finish on the neck was also sanded to a satin finish, so now it is fast and smooth.
There is a nice patina on the nickel bridge and stoptail. The frets are at about 95%.
This guitar has been extensively upgraded from stock.
The upgrades consist of:
- EMG 85 in the bridge, EMG 60A in the neck. 25k vol/tone pots.
- Stew Mac Chrome finish pickup rings.
- Tone Pros locking bridge
- Sperzel 2 tone locking tuners
- Black speed knobs
This Hardtail plays and sounds great. It has been my go to "metal" guitar for years now. I hate to part with this guitar, but after getting my new Tele I think I may be a Fender guy.
I've put over $400 worth of upgrades into this guitar. I'm asking $500 shipped in the US. No case included, but will be packed well in a guitar box. I can include a used SKB case for an extra $50 if the buyer wants.
I'd prefer to keep this in the US. Paypal preferred.
