Don Fogg needs no introduction in the world of knives. With his compadre Jimmy Fikes, this former Marine helped create what has become the ABS standards for Mastersmiths. His knives are very hard to find these days, and are always a thing of beauty.
This particular piece has all the hallmarks of a vintage Fogg knife. It is hand forged to the highest performance standards, The Broad upswept blade has a hand polished finish. It’s 4” long and razor sharp. The scales are ironwood and fit the hand very well. OAL is 8 3/8”. It has a hand tooled leather sheath. The knife has Don’s chrysanthemum mark stamped on it. The fit and finish on this knife is superlative in every way.
