For Sale: Downeast Knife Co. Companion
Downeast Knife Company is a collaboration between Maine makers Scott Tanguay and Lamont Coombs. It’s a great working knife, very comfortable to hold and use. You can see more about the company and the knife at http://downeastknife.com/
OAL is 7 7/8”
Tip to scale is 4”, cutting edge is 3 1/2”
Stock thickness is 1/8”
Blade is D2 with heat & cryo treatment by Paul Bos
Handles are green canvas micarta
Kydex sheath with large Teklok
I bought the knife in March of this year and used it all around the house and yard through the spring and summer. I got it resharpened by Lamont in late September and it hasn’t been used since. There are some small rub marks on the front of the blade and some light scratches on both sides, minor stuff considering how much I cut with this knife.
Price is$150 $135 shipped.
