Like new from the most recent batch. I purchased it new and have not used it other than to test the edge on paper. Snakeskin etch is deep and well done. The polish on the grind is higher on one side. Not sure of the pics show it well. It's a very sharp knife and weighs very little. Great for a backup or covert carry.
