Up for sale is this brand new traditional finnish knife - Lauri model Leuku 175. This bladeshape has been used for ages in the scandinavian countries because it is very effective. The handle is also made in the classic shape - comfortable for hard work. Also very beautiful! Back in the days hunters in the tundra have been carrying two knives - puuko and leuku!

blade thickness - 3mm
blade steel - 80CrV2 hardened to 59 HRC, forged.
The handle is made from brass, red fiber and "hazelnut tree" - impregnated so you won't have any problems with water. The handle shape is extremely comfortable for all kind of tasks!
This is how the blade comes from Lauri - the top of it isn't polished to prevent rust. It is very easy to mirror polish it, though. I like it that way so I left it as is. The grind is classical scandy grind with micro bevel.
The blade is made in Finland, the handle - in Bulgaria by master knifemaker, first class quality!
The sheath is nothing special but it is made from genuine leather and is comfortable to carry.
Very beautiful knife in finnish style, also hard worker. It will not disappoint you in the woods!
