Stephan built this knife for me. First thing I want to say about that is, if yu don't buy THIS knife, go check out his stuff. He is great to deal with and cares about what he is making. This shows in his work. This is the nicest looking knife I have ever owned. It has dark Cocobolo handle scales with black liners and stainless steel pin/lanyard ferrule, tapered tang. For all its thickness (.210" at the spine near the handle) it has good geometry. It is either W1 or 1084 - I don't remember but it DOES take an edge. The handle is not going to work for me. I though about changing it but it looks too good to mess with. I will find a new home for this one and see about having someting else made.
Thanks for looking!
