FS: Freshly Ban'd SHBA - SOLD!

I have to do this before I change my mind, but lawyer expenses for my wife's immigration demand that I let go of some stuff...I can't let go of my MOABolo, so I must offer up my beloved Ban Tang Regrind SHBA w/ Okuden kydex sheath.

As you can see in the pics, Ban did an amazing job with it:





This knife has not been used on anything other than whittling hair (it's great at that, btw :p ) but as you can see there are scratches from the kydex.

This is a truly special SHBA and it pains me to let this go. The one condition I ask is that if you ever decide to sell this please give me a chance to buy it back.

I bought this SHBA in new condition for $750. Paid Ban $200 for the satin job. Asking 150 less than I have in it: $800 shipped & Paypaled-- SOLD! for this beautiful beast of a knife

Wow, sorry you have to sell this and that I don't have the funds to get it. That is a unique piece of Ban's work! Good luck with the sale and getting things taken care of :thumbup:

Thanks for the kind words forager. This one's pretty special but I'd say getting to stay here in the US with my wife is totally worth the sacrifice...the reality is that I am blessed with lots of great knives in my life right now (more than my current position in life "should" allow), and knowing that whoever picks this blade up will appreciate it as much as I do somehow makes it a little better. I'm only listing it here so that it stays within our Brotherhood of Bacon ;)
 
But the true beauty shines in the using, friend ;) and hey the pre-existing kydex scratches should make it a little easier.
