For sale is a beautiful new GL Drew camp axe. This is an awesome little hatchet and very well built. Top quality! These have been a big hit and I can see why. Unfortunately, I have many axes/hatchets this size. Below are the specs:
Forged from 1080 1 inch bars stock
Differentially heat treated with about 1 1/2 inches of the blade at RC 58-60 and the body somewhat softer
Handle is reworked from a hickory hatchet handle and stained
Length from the butt to the top of the head: 13 inches
Head length: 7 inches
Cutting edge: 2 7/8 inches
Weight: pound 9 ounces
Leather edge guard, no belt loop
