I have the following for sale.
GEC 15 Sheepsfoot (Long Pull) and Pen in Nifebrite Acrylic (153215). This one was purchased new (NOS) from a GEC distributor. It has faint, light scratches on the bolsters and end caps. It was carried twice in a pocket with no other items and has only cut a piece of paper to test sharpness. It has excellent W & T with a pull of around 6. Centering on both blades is good (see pic) and there is no discernable side blade play. The knife has been given a light application of mineral oil (including the joint). Comes with tube, pin and paper.
Price - $69.00 (SOLD)
GEC 15 Sheepsfoot (Long Pull) and Pen in Gabon Ebony (153215). It has very dark ebony. This one was purchased from a fellow forum member who stated it was LNIT and I see no reason to doubt him. It has faint, light scratches on the bolsters and end caps. It was carried once in a pocket with no other items and has only cut a piece of paper to test sharpness. It has excellent W & T with a pull of around 6. Centering on both blades is good (see pic) and there is no discernable side blade play. The knife has been given a light application of mineral oil (including the joint). Comes with tube and paper.
Price - $79.00 (SOLD)
Buck 2018 Forum Knives with Elk Covers and CPM-154 blades. These are both good knives and have not been carried or used for cutting. There is no discernable blade play in any of the blades. The pulls are around a 5 on the sheepsfoot blades and around a 4.5 to 5 on the clip blades.
1. The elk is thinner on this one and blade centering is fairly good. The joints have been lightly oiled (mineral oil). Comes with box, wrapping and warranty card.
Price - $84.00 (SOLD)
2. The elk is thicker on this one and centering is fair with no blades touching the liners. One pin was not spun correctly and there is only a partial domed top. It is just an aesthetic imperfection and in no way affects the function of the knife. The cover is tight to the liner and I believe Buck indicated the covers were epoxied in place before pinning. I'm sure it could be sent in and fixed by Buck under warranty. This one is priced accordingly. Comes with box, wrapping, warranty card and Porch card insert.
Price - $60.00 (SOLD)
The first "I'll take it" followed up by rapid payment (within 30 minutes) will get the knives. I am not interested in trades at this time. Payment through PayPal, I'll cover the fees and shipping (USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box) to CONUS addresses only. I will not ship to NYC addresses. Must be at least 18 years old and in compliance with all state and local laws to purchase these knives. I reserve the right to sell to whoever I would like.
Please PM me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
