Added pics of the blades open. Secondary blade looks like a drop point to me..

Surprised this isn't gone well under a brand new one from any other retailer. And this one is New!

im not totally sure what u mean by pull. but if you mean pulling the blades out? then it is smooth and a little stiff takes some effort. but i think they would smooth out once you open and close them enough.
