I have the following for sale.
GEC 48 Northfield Pickle Green Jig Bone (488117). This one was recently purchased from fellow forum member who stated it was LNIB and I see no reason to doubt him. It has not been carried or used. It has a pull of about 5 with good W&T (great snap for a lighter pull). It has no discernable side blade play. The spring is flush with the blade closed and slightly sunken with the blade opened. It's a beautiful knife but just to narrow for my hand.
Unfortunately, I dropped the knife from a short height onto a hard floor as I was about to oil it and wrap it for shipping. There are no dings, chips or cracks in the covers that I can see with a loupe. The blade was closed and I don't see any marks on the spine. It appears the bolsters took the brunt of the damage and there are a few scraps on them and two small dings at the corner of an end cap and corner of a lined bolster. There is also a scuff at the top of the back spring. I'm sure someone with a little skill and patience could easily remedy most of the cosmetic defects and have a great user at a good price. I couldn't get the majority of the marks to show up in a pic. It is priced accordingly. Comes with tube and paper.
Price - $old
The first "I'll take it" followed up by rapid payment (within 1 hour) will get the knife. I am not interested in trades at this time. Payment through PayPal, I'll cover the fees and shipping (USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box) to CONUS addresses only. I will not ship to NYC addresses. Must be at least 18 years old and in compliance with all state and local laws to purchase this knife. I reserve the right to sell to whoever I would like.
Please PM me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
