I have the following for sale.
F&F 47 Hayn Helper Jack in Green Micarta (473216). This was recently purchased from a GEC distributor. This knife has been carried a couple of times but has the factory edge and was only used to test cut paper. There may be a few light scratches on the back springs and sheepsfoot swedge. The pulls are around a 5 to 6 and there is no discernable side blade play in either blade. Centering is good. Both blades have good W&T and good snap. There is a small pepper spot on one side of the long pen blade near the tang (see pic #3 below at bottom of thread). It should be easy to polish out. The knife would make a great user. Comes with tube & paper.
Price - Withdrawn
Northfield 53M Muskrat - Snakewood (Serial Number - 022) 2007 prodution. I purchased this from a fellow forum member who stated it was LNIB. It has not been carried and has only been used to test cut paper. The joints have been flushed with mineral oil. There are a few faint scratches on the bolsters and shield. The blades have pulls of around 8 with strong snap. The clip blades are very robust but well ground by GEC with surprisingly sharp edges and good points. The etches are clear but have faded a bit. There are rub marks in a small area of one side of each blade. The blades are fairly well centered (see pic below). The snakewood is beautiful and feels good in hand. Comes with tube and paper.
Price - $old
Tidioute Speaker Jack - Muslin Micarta (133217 - Store Model - "S" stamped on tang of pen blade). This was recently purchased from a GEC distributor. It has not been carried and was only used to test cut paper. The pulls are around a 5 on each blade and both blades have good snap. There is no discernable side blade play in either blade. The springs are flush with blades opened or closed. The joints have been flushed with mineral oil. The sheepsfoot is slightly canted (not perfectly straight) when opened and is off center toward the outer liner when closed (it does not touch the liner and there is no rub). This is the only thing I can see that would make this one a Store Model. This would make a great user/EDC knife. Comes with tube and paper.
Price - $65.00 > $59.00
Boker Evergreen Series Special Edition Stockman with Olive Wood and 440C Clip & Sheepsfoot Blades (SN 251/500). Closed Length - 4" and Clip Blade - 3". Made in Germany. I received this in a recent trade with a fellow forum member (original owner) who stated that it had been sharpened, carried and used for light cutting. The olive wood is well finished and beautiful. The sheepsfoot blade has some light staining on one side that ought to polish out easily. There are light carry marks on the back springs and bolsters. The clip is off center towards the liner but does not touch. Both blades have a consistent 6-7 pull and good snap. No half-stops. There is no discernable side play in either blade. Comes with drawstring bag, paperwork and box.
Price - $55.00
Schatt & Morgan Horticulturist Knife Series XVII with Jigged Red Bone and 420C Clip & Sheepsfoot Blades (042197). Closed Length - 3.75" and Clip Blade - 2.75". The bone is gorgeous on this knife. I received this in a recent trade with a fellow forum member who stated that it was purchased off The Exchange and had been sharpened, carried and used for light cutting. There are light carry marks on the back springs, bolsters and shield. The clip is off center towards the liner and barely touches in one small area creating a rub. The clip has about a 5 pull and the sheepsfoot has about a 6 pull. Both blades have good snap. No half-stops. There is no discernable side play in either blade. No visible gaps between springs and liners. Does not come with box or paperwork.
Price - $old
New York Knife Co. Hammer Brand - Bone Covers and Tip Bolsters - Single Spring Wharncliffe and Pen Blades. I received this in a recent trade with a fellow forum member who stated that it was purchased off The Bay. The bone covers were once jiggled but appear to have been buffed along with the tip bolsters. The tang stamps are "New York Knife Co Walden" and "Hammer Brand" with the arm and hammer. There is slight side play in the wharncliffe but none in the pen. Both blades have half-stops and good snap for the age of the knife.
