This is my all time favorite knife. I became interested in the Spyderco Leafstorm designed by Wilkins - it's still my favoriye EDC (the Spyderco) aside for the C22. I looked into Kevin Wilkins and found he made, on occasion, custom knives and of those included the Leafstorm that was un-effeing believable. I emailed Kevin and he said he has mostly retired from knife making but could build me a Leafstorm with Mammoth Bark and he replied he would, but would charge 3500 Euros or $3,900.00 US. There were only a handful in circulation in the entire world and at that time I couldn't drop 4k on a knife. After looking for what felt like forever, I found a gentleman who bought a one of a kind Leafstorm (the exact one I wanted) and had stored it in his climate controlled safe for years - the condition was mint. The knife has never been used, carried or sharpened. Info on the maker and specs on the knife are below.

This one-of-a-kind Leafstorm has been in a private collection and has been meticulously cared for. It is in new condition. By all appearances, it could have been made yesterday. The 2-1/2 inch damascus blade was forged from carbon steels. A short swedge helps reinforce the tip of the knife. Jimping along the thumb ramp creates a secure purchase. A thumb hole has been cut out, but doesn't go all the way through the blade. Premium mammoth ivory scales are set a 6AI4V titanium frame for strength and durability. The titanium has been fire anodized bronze, adding great contrast to the mammoth ivory. Jimping on the black G10 backspacer provides extra security when pulling the knife from a pocket.
