This is a handmade dagger I bought in the Philippines around 1980 and never used. Its very sharp, 6" double ground double edged blade. Brass guard and stacked leather handle. OAL is 10 1/2". Comes in a leather belt sheath. No makers mark on it.

$50 shipped in USA.

Blades like this were used both in the US military personnel stationed in the Philippines as well as being tourist pieces.. This type of blade was primarily made by the AETAS which are the original Filipino natives.. I had several of these during my military time stationed there and let me tell you from experience, they will hold a sharp edge because while we were on deployment one of the electricians used it to try and cut wire to string lights in our tents, he pushed down on the back side of the blade which was sharpenened and to say the least, he was a patient at our hospital due to being cut all the way to the joint by the sharpness of thie blade.. This was circa 1979-81 time frame during my 2nd tour there.. Great catch by the way because these are hard to find outside of the country now and a lot of the newer stuff couldn't cut butter if the blade was heated and sharpened..
