This is a knife made by Kelley Ward (aka Hard Edge Knives), which he called a Primitive User. It is a nice thick forged 1095 blade, with a very utilitarian shape. It came with a convex edge, but I put a 20 degree bevel on with a Lansky. It is paper slicing, but not shaving, sharp. The sheath works great, especially horizontally. The handle is epoxy soaked cord wrapped in a traditional style, and is VERY sturdy and grippy.
