Aloha,

I picked up this knife at a gun show here in Honolulu in the late 1990's. The original owner was a police officer that had it made for his wife. They split up and he sold it. Tom Mayo wanted to buy it from me when I showed it to him (he had a table at the show).

Anyway, the total length is about about 5 ¾” long with a 2” edge. It has some nice ivory and feels good in my hand for a small knife. The knife is in good shape. I've conditioned the ivory over the years. It comes with a simple leather sheath that I forgot to include a photo of.

I used to keep it on my desk but since I've had kids it's been in the safe. I only used it to open envelopes. It has been sharpened on an Edge Pro. I'm not sure of the steel. There is no rust or pitting in the steel. It's in excellent condition (looks mint) as can be seen in the photos.

The second knife is from Ron Lui. Although you probably have not heard of Ron, he is a long time cutom knife maker in Honolulu who got started around the same time as Stan Fujisaka. Ron is a real nice guy. He's retired and makes a small number of knives that are sold at the local gun shows. I purchased this one a few years ago. It's pretty bad ass looking but has a very polished / refined look. It is very smooth.

Closed length: about 5 1/8", Total blade length: about 4", Cutting edge: about 3 5/8"

I think it's ATS34. I lightly sharpened it on an Edge Pro but never used it. Looks new other than the edge where you can see it's been sharpened....
