WTS Heavy Heart Fusion Steel Heart (0.270" thick) with standard black micarta handle and Armoralleather dangler sheath (right-hand carry). Purchased direct from Busse Company Store in 2006, never used, but edge has been sharpened.
Sharpening procedure involved thinning and evening the bevels on a 200x silicon carbide waterstone; convex edge was then refined and smoothed using a 3M 15 micron SiC belt followed by power stropping on a belt grinder. Edge was then re-apexed by lightly stropping on a Spyderco ultrafine ceramic benchstone. Slight buffing/smoothing marks on the crinkle coat above the bevel from power stropping, otherwise knife has been unused and stored in sheath since purchase.
