I have for sale a Gen 2 Hinderer XM-18 3.5".
Blade is a spanto flipper.
I purchased this knife from another board member in Feb 2007. I have used the knife and it probably spent about an accumulated 6 months in my pocket over the last 6 years...including some time in Afghanistan last year. I am selling because after I got out of the Marine Corps, it became unreasonable for me to carry around a large, combat-style folder everywhere and I haven't used it in the past 2 months.
Condition - the knife is in pretty good condition, but the pictures are probably your best guide here. I used the knife regularly and sharpened on my Edgepro probably 6-7 times over the past 6 years. The action is standard XM-18 smooth. The marks can be seen pretty clearly in the pictures: the slight rubbing on the side of the blade (picture 1), the mark on the leading edge of the handle (pictures 9 and 10) and the scuff on the leading edge of the scale (again, pictures 9 and 10). I don't seen any other marks on her, but I will absolutely take more pictures/pictures of specific areas if anyone is interested.
Price: Looking for $1000 (new price) net to me. Paypal or whatever other method you can think of. I'll ship just about anywhere. Open to offers if you are so inclined.
Trades: The only thing I really want is watch: Sinn UX. If you have one in good condition (never version of the UX with the new oil formula), then we can discuss compensation. No trades for any knives!
I am aware that I do not have feedback here (last transaction was in 2007), but I have excellent feedback on ebay under dwolfbearer (send me a message there if you need to confirm) and on fredmiranda (camera website) under dwolfbearer. I am reliable and will talk with you on the phone or whatever to assure you that this is a safe transaction.
