Swamp Rat Howling Rat sterile 1st generation. SOLD
Never used. Never carried. Fantastic condition. EXCEPT THERE IS SHEATH WEAR ON THE HANDLE, see reflections on photo (Thanks Tom!)
Onscene tactical kydex with teklock, (original sheath long gone.)
My camera skills and equipment suck. This is the best I can do for now.
I wish I could do it justice.

The blade is about 4 3/4" from grip, sharpened edge is about 3 3/4", LOA is about 9 1/8". Gen 1 then????
Can't find my micrometer to measure blade thickness.

You can tell that it is a Gen 1 because of the "shallow" choil, the curved area between the back of the edge and the front of the handle. The Gen 2 HRs had a deeper (i.e. taller, more concave) choil, more of that curved area top to bottom within which you could put your index finger if you wanted to choke up on the blade a little. Everything else between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 was the same except for a few variants.

The Gen 1 is for whatever reason more sought after and commands a better price than the Gen 2 HR. Maybe fewer of them were made vs the Gen 2 HRs. If I were you you, I'd change the title of your thread to reflect that it is a Gen 1, not a Gen 2. It might get noticed and sell a bit quicker. Great knife at a great price here.
