This is my first Kit Bag, but has recently been replaced by the Heavy Recon. It's seen some light use, maybe a dozen day hikes. No smells or stains. I have made a few modifications to it, to be listed as follows:
1. I replaced all the harness buckles with QD buckles. The idea was to make it more modular, so the harness could be removed completely and a purse-like strap could be used instead. I liked this idea more in theory than in practice. It does, however, allow you to remove all external straps from the bag, and stow them inside. Makes for a more streamlined package for transport.
2. I sewed the inside pockets of the main compartment, vertically. In effect, making 2 large pockets into four medium ones. I found this worked better for flashlights, SAKs, power bars, battery cases, etc. The good news is this stitching can be easily removed with a stitch remover.
3. I've added a stabilizer strap (essentially some shock cord with a small fastex buckle) to the lower part of the Kit Bag. Seems to help keep it in place when bending forward. I also added a whistle zipper pull (I think it's an ESEE, from their survival kit) to the front zipper.
Well, enough words. Here are some photos:

So, I'm looking for $SOLD (on another forum) shipped, priority to the USA. Paypal, I eat the fees. First "I'll take it" in the thread gets it. Thanks for looking.
ETA: this listing is cross-posted, so first time stamp gets it.
