Hi,

I am extremely saddened to part with this custom from the very well regarded knifemaker here, Jack O'Neill. I need the funds so I am going to have to let this one go. The knife and sheath are both in pristine, new condition, as received directly from Jack himself.

Please see the original thread that Jack made for this knife, it will give a detailed description: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-2nd-of-2-only-***SOLD***?highlight=icelander

Excerpt from his thread:

When I got permission from one of our makers in Iceland to use the profile from one of his knives , I ground 2 of them . This one is the 2nd of the 2 and there are no more and may never be any more or at least not for some years if I live that long .

Any way folks , this is hollow ground from 3/16" stock of ATS 34 . It has been Heat treated to an Rc 60-61. Machine Satin Finished

O.A.L is 10"
Blade is 5-1/2" long , it sports a rounded spine with a spear point top swedge ( unsharpened ) and 5/32 chainsaw file thumb grooves . It is 1-1/4" wide at the plunge grind . The sharpened edge is at 5"

I dressed this fighter in Honduras Rosewood Figured Burl with copper & Mosaic pins

The sheath is left/right hand carry 8-9-oz grade A veg tanned
